Volunteers needed!

A Sinterklaas event has succesfully been organized by the Sinterklaas committee in BC for many years. We would really like to continue to organize this memorable event for kids and the young at heart. To be able to do this, we need new volunteers to join our team!

Seeing all the happy faces at the event is the greatest reward for your help. If you are interested in joining our team or have any other questions, please send an e-mail to sinterklaasbc@gmail.com.

Thanks for the great Sinterklaas celebration! We hope you all had a great time.

Sinterklaas and his Pieten loved talking to you all and they were very happy with all the beautiful colouring pictures they received.

Since it was an online celebration, we do not have many pictures. However, some screenshots will be available in the album Photos 2021.

If you have any feedback, please let us know at sinterklaasbc@gmail.com. This is very valuable to us!

And without volunteers there is no Sinterklaas celebration. If you would like to be part of this organization, please let us know at sinterklaasbc@gmail.com. We hope to continue this Dutch tradition next year!

Surprise packages arrived!

Good news: the surprise packages for the kids have arrived at the Holland Shopping Center in New Westminster. They are now available at both HSC New Westminster and HSC Chilliwack. 

And as a reminder: don't forget to sign up for Main Event and the one-on-one sessions with Sinterklaas! Information and tickets can be found here (Main Event) and here (one-on-one sessions). We hope to see you all on Zoom!

Surprise packages delayed :(

Due to the extreme weather conditions Sinterklaas has not been able to drop off the surprise packages for the kids at the Holland Shopping Centre in New Westminster. 

We will update you again via this page and our Facebook page when the packages have arrived!

Kids, do you have a burning question for Sinterklaas? Send your question(s) to sinterklaasbc@gmail.com before November 22 and Sinterklaas might answer it during the Zoom session!

Tickets are now available!

Sinterklaas is coming back to Canada this year!

The tickets for the Sinterklaas event are now on sale and available online. Click here to go to our ticket page.

Because of the pandemic, Sinterklaas will meet the children online via Zoom. Tickets are FREE but you do need to register in order to attend the event.

We also have a little surprise for children under 13 years. There is one package available per child, supplies are limited so register early!

Furthermore, you can book a one-on-one session with Sinterklaas. More information can be found here. Don't wait too long, as these slots will fill up quickly.

The colouring pictures are also available online here. Show Sinterklaas your creativity! The best colourings of each category will get an honorable mentoin by Sinterklaas himself on Zoom.

Sinterklaas 2021

We are so excited to let you know that Sinterklaas will come to Vancouver again. 
As many of you know, Sinterklaas is quite old and with the current pandemic, we decided it is better to meet the children online. It will be different, but fun nonetheless!

We will have a fun 30-40 minutes with singing songs to Sinterklaas and dancing Pieten dances on Saturday, November 27, 2021.

Around that day, there will also be a chance to see Sinterklaas and Pieten in a private Zoom-room.
